Get over yourself, Tiger!

February 19, 2010 by Caren

So Tiger’s sorry.  Okay.  He won’t do it again.  Okay.  He’s not taking questions.  Okay.  He’s going back to his Buddhist roots and back to therapy, too.  Okay.  And leave his wife and children alone, they are not to blame.  Hmmmmmmm … was he not thinking about this while he was philandering all over the world?

Did he not think his actions might have repercussions on his wife and children?  And if he wasn’t thinking of this why should the paparazzi?  Not that I’m a huge fan of the paps, but seriously, isn’t this all of his own makings?  And if he took questions, could he not shift the attention to himself rather than his family?  This guy seems like the biggest control freak in the whole world.  All he’s done is stir the pot more, and opened his family to more scrutiny, scrutiny he could easily have shifted to himself today if he’d wanted.

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ernie and Liezl Els a couple of weeks ago, a more warm and open couple you could never hope to meet.  Hasn’t Tiger blemished all these other golfers, too, by turning golfers into the butt of all infidelity jokes?  Didn’t he owe them an apology for this?  I am so over him!!  What do you think?

About Caren

Caren Banks was born in Paris, France; grew up in South Africa and has now been in the States for almost 35 years - and, wow, had to use her fingers to work that out. Does this mean she's getting younger? Except for 6 years in the 80's when she lived in Connecticut, she's spent the entire time in the Hollywood area in Los Angeles, and the last 20 years or so in the safari business in one form or another.
